Revenue is not profit
Buying an item for 1 gold and receiving 1 gold 50 silver in net sale proceeds produces 50 silver in realized profit. A returned auction deposit is separate from sale revenue. AZPC uses confirmed purchases and settled sale records rather than treating all seller mail as profit.
What your dashboard shows
- Realized profit or loss: settled sales with supported acquisition costs.
- Unrealized profit or loss: estimated gains or losses on priced inventory you still own.
- Open cost basis: the recorded purchase costs remaining in active inventory.
- Portfolio value: an estimate for positions with usable market observations.
The history graph switches between realized profit and net sales revenue. Your personal auction table shows events, quantities, proceeds, basis, profit and timestamps. Winning and losing trades are separate so a high sales total does not hide an unprofitable trading pattern.
Farmed items, expired listings and pending sales
Sales you confirm as farmed or other zero-cost acquisitions can be classified together from selected history rows. Expired returns retain their recorded purchase cost. A confirmed buyer awaiting seller mail stays pending; an unresolved disappearance does not become a made-up sale. Missing costs remain unknown until supported or classified.
Decide what to list next
The top-five opportunities panel considers captured bag inventory with supported costs and prices. Already listed, pending and unresolved units are excluded. Estimated net proceeds account for the 5% auction cut; the estimate is market guidance and does not guarantee a buyer.
